Do you have a young person at home needing some support and guidance for their next careers steps? MSD fund youth courses that are there to assist youth to make a decision regarding their next steps in a fun and engaging way. These are all FREE courses!! Please keep this as a handy reference for great youth courses that are run in South Auckland.

Ara Education
12 week training course. For those 15-25. Mangere based and a great course for those who may be interested in a range of industry pathways. Drivers licence, CV and interview skills are all included in this supportive programme.

Martin Hautus Foundation Trust
Tupulaga Le Lumana’I, Youth course, for 16-24 year olds individualised support to get you to where you want to be. Training and careers pathways support, with great facilitators. Highly tailored to your needs.

Hapai Tuhono
(Mana Turoa programme) 12 week programme. For those 18-25 Focused on uplifting Rangatahi Maori toward their career aspirations in a By Maori For Maori Environment. https://hapaituhono.co.nz/join-our-programs

Get Ready Work Ready
8 weeks 18-24 year olds. Manukau based programme. Hosted by the Cause Collective. Free door to door pick up! And lunch provided.

Oceania Careers Academy

✅ Whatu Ora Health Scholarships for those pursuing a career in Heath are open for 2024 ✅

Applications for Pacific Health Scholarships 2024 are open!
We need your help in spreading the word through your networks to make sure as many Pacific students as possible have the chance to receive one the scholarships and by extension grow the number of Pacific people in our health workforce. Please apply if you are also eligible!

There have been a few changes to the eligibility criteria and application process to make it easier:

• A new online applications portal
• More overall funding available
• Students can now receive up to $2,500 in scholarships from other sources and still be eligible
• A wider variety of qualifications are eligible

Applications are open until 11.59pm on Monday 5 February 2024.
